Pure Smile Edo Art Face Mask Set Review

Given as a gift

For last month, I tried to use more printed masks in October in honour of Halloween and the ones I was most looking forward to using were these Edo Art Face Masks from Pure Smile! Pure Smile actually does quite a few printed masks with some really good patterns and kabuki prints are one of them so when my husband’s coworker went to Japan, she picked these up for me!

What makes these masks special? Other than the glorious prints, all four masks have the same ingredients including hydrolyzed collagen, witch hazel, tea extract, hyaluronic acid and interestingly the ingredient erythritol! This was an ingredient I enjoyed in the Klairs Midnight Blue Calming Mask as it instantly provides a cooling effect to the skin!

This was one of my favourite designs and was one of the ones that freaked out Huxley when he saw me coming out of the bathroom!

This mask was also a favourite because of how pink it was and how much it reminded me of Japanese cherry blossoms.

The fan on the side of the face was cute, but I preferred the designs of the first two masks much more!

Mask Summary:

Price: From what I have been able to find, the pack of 4 masks is anywhere from $25-$30/box

Skin concerns: Hydration and cooling

Scent: Floral

Essence Type: Clear, slightly watery jelly essence

Duration: 20 minutes

Thickness: Medium for a normal sheet mask, but fairly thin for a printed mask.

Mask Fit: Pretty good! The chin was a bit short so there was some lifting, but other than that, the masks stayed on my skin for most of the 20 minutes.

Tackiness: Light

Hydration: Good!

Final verdict: I would definitely try more printed masks from Pure Smile now that I have had the experience! I will have to be on the lookout for more!
