This mask was supposed to be for October as it had the PERFECT Fall theme, but when my skin started to seriously act up after coming back from Paris and even prior to leaving (likely due to stress), I called it quits temporarily on all non-essential skincare. My sheet masks lay untouched for months until the end of December when I felt comfortable enough to try putting my skin through the rigours of a multi-step routine again. Luckily, I know that The Creme Shop has always sat well with my skin and I could not WAIT to try on this super cute, printed Hello Kitty mask!
Mask Summary:
Price: $4 USD/$20 USD for 6 masks
What it does: Brightens, moisturizes and promotes a youthful appearance
Scent: A little bit apple-y, but not in an artificial way
Essence Type: Clear jelly and a bit bubbly
Duration: 30 minutes (I usually leave it on for 25, but I actually lost track of time! The mask was still pretty moist though)
Thickness: All TCS masks tend to be on the thin to medium side
Mask Fit: Small moustache piece and extra material goes into my hair, but these masks are fun enough that I don’t mind too much. The thicker moustache piece would be my greatest wish though!
Tackiness: Light
Hydration: I did not feel the need for additional moisturizer
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: Well, it’s obvious I will keep trying TCS masks because they are adorable, affordable and have decent results!
