Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum*
I am NEVER without a Vitamin C serum in the mornings, but whenever I start a new Vit C serum, I start with every other day as my skin has a habit of getting red if the concentration is too strong. Formulated with 1% Vit C, this serum is gentle enough for even the most sensitive of skin and works to even skin tone, fade dark spots and improve skin texture. This Korean skincare product ensures effective results while being kind to your skin.
Texture for a Vitamin C serum is also one that is very important to me and while having a super sticky serum is not the end of the world, I am so glad that this #OOTD Beauty Vitamin C Serum is NOT sticky at all (and is silicone-free)! It absorbs incredibly quickly AND there is no pilling when I apply sunscreen and foundation! Now, that we are in the summer season this quality is so important to me. This serum also did NOT make me red so I was able to move into using it daily within a few days and I have been using it for almost 7 weeks now with nothing but glowing skin!
Also, have you seen the size of this bottle?! Serums usually come in 30mL bottles so seeing 50mL is incredibly affordable compared to other Vitamin C serums on the market! The serum is also fairly spreadable as it is has a watery-gel texture so this bottle will probably last closer to six months than the standard three.

Triple Hyaluron Serum Glowing Mask*
I adore that sheet masks are so easily part of any Korean skincare routine and this hyaluronic acid sheet mask is the perfect hydrating serum step. Formulated with six different molecular weights of HA, this mask is intensely hydrating with the presence of vitamin C continuing to brighten the skin and finally caffeine reducing the look of puffiness.
This mask is made of soft lyocell bamboo which fit beautifully around my chin with the nose piece even being the right size for me! I didn’t have to fold it up! There were also little cuts in the eye area in order for the mask to sit more flat especially for someone like myself who does not have much of a nose bridge!

Peptide Skin Barrier Cream*
We now need to seal in our serums with a solid moisturizer as our “skincare helmet”! This shea butter-based moisturizer features niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, ceramides and peptides though the latter three ingredients are the last ones in the ingredients list.
What you will notice is the packaging is the pump-style dispenser where you press down for “fresh” product every time. While I can understand this type of packaging, I find that it takes up a lot of room on my counter and that when it gets down to the last few pumps of product, I will probably find a way to tear open the jar as I don’t like the unknown of “how much product is left in there??”
The texture of this moisturizer leans towards the thicker side, but it is not greasy and has a skin-like finish with hydration that lasts all day. For more humid weather though, I only use a half pump as a little bit of product goes a long way.

Dark Circle Eye Serum*
I have always been a bit dubious about the efficacy of eye creams/serums with the exception of a handful of products over the years, but this year I have noticed that I am starting to get dry undereyes which has led me to the conclusion that I need something light enough to not give me milia, but hydrating and quick to absorb into the skin. This eye serum contains niacinamide, ceramides and vitamin C and focuses on brightening tired-looking eyes.
This eye serum is more like a gel-cream so I use it as a serum/moisturizer and though it has a slight fragrance, I do not smell it once it is on my skin. While I was not sure if there would be any noticeable decrease in my dark circles, someone commented that my dark circles “weren’t that bad” so maybe there has been an improvement? Overall, it has been a pleasant eye serum to use and I like that it is easily spreadable around the orbital bone and feels like I have nothing on.

Final verdict: Super solid products across the board with the Dark Spot Vitamin C Serum and Triple Hyaluron Serum Glowing Mask being my favourite products and likely products I would purchase! The ingredients of the #OOTD Beauty products were very no nonsense and to the point that along with the affordable pricing, how could I not want to continue to use these products and/or try more?! I am curious about their retinol products as I am always interested in more “gentle” retinol products. Overall, I was really pleased with what I tried from #OOTD Beauty and look forward to trying more from them!
