Oh my my, we have now reached the middle of August and dare I say it, almost the end of the summer…I know let’s not think about that now because I think once September rolls around, the rest of 2023 is going to go by in a flash. I still want to squeeze out the last bits of summer including some summery sheet masks like these delectable looking popsicle-themed masks from Korean beauty brand A’Pieu!

What makes this mask special? This is a classic example of packaging reeling you in for the sheet mask kill! Honestly, how can you resist a sheet mask that comes in this type of packet? This mask also contains sea water and watermelon fruit extract (top half of the ingredients list) to give skin a hydrated and brighter complexion while smoothing skin texture.

Scent: Very strong and sweet watermelon (not my favourite)

Essence Type: Clear and slightly watery

Duration: 30 minutes

Thickness: Thin

Mask Fit: Quite nice, but I feel like the “moustache” piece could have been thinner as I don’t like masks touching my lips

Tackiness: Light/medium

Hydration: Good, I did not feel the need to apply anything especially in the recent humid weather!

What makes this mask special? This one also has sea water and pineapple and mango fruit extract along with ginseng extract, aloe extract and Job’s Tears – all fantastic ingredients!

Hydration: Good, I did not feel the need to apply anything especially in the recent humid weather!

Final verdict: I would definitely be open to trying the other two masks (Melon and Mandarin) in this series just to smell them as I think they would smell pretty good! Other than that, I felt like these masks were decent for the price, had cute packaging and fun to use. The results felt pretty standard and the finish was a tad too sticky for me to say that I am going to keep this mask on restock. After trying so many sheet masks, I feel like it really needs to hit all of my criteria to make me say I will repurchase (or purchase if it is a press sample)!
