Well, Happy Sunday to all! We are officially in Summer now and less than a week until my birthday and all of its celebrations! I am EXCITED for the heat (not 40 degrees please!) and lazy summer days off to begin! Today in Vancouver it is dark, gloomy and 14 degrees so not exactly summer weather as I sit here in my Aritizia hoodie, but hopefully it clears up a bit later on in the day. Today I have from Bring Green what I thought would be a summer sheet mask, but based on the results I think this mask could easily be used throughout the year as it is quite hydrating! I think I have already let the cat out of the bag with that last sentence, but I’ll try to keep the rest of this post entertaining.

What makes this mask special? This mask contains clarifying tea tree and soothing Centella asiatica and is made from 100% Lyocell, a breathable and soft cellulose material. The tea tree leaf extract is early on in the ingredients list and for those interested, this mask is vegan.

I picked this up along with the limited edition Squid Game masks earlier this year meaning they were in the same box as the Young Hee Fresh Masks (here) so the packaging looks a bit different, but I believe these masks are part of Bring Green’s regular Fresh Mask collection.

Check out how translucent the mask is! I love a mask like this that is thin and yet still holds a ton of essence!

Mask Summary:
Price: I think it was $19.99 CDN/Box of 10 at Miniso
What it does: Soothes and cools skin
Scent: Tea tree!
Essence Type: Clear, slightly viscous
Duration: 30 minutes
Thickness: Very thin and translucent
Mask Fit: Super nice and seamless with a good-sized moustache piece!
Tackiness: None whatsoever.
Hydration: Good! I thought it would be a bit drying since it’s tea tree-based, but it was pretty perfect for my skin and I just added a touch of moisturizer.
Other notes: N/A

Final verdict: I very much enjoyed this mask both for its detoxifying properties and how hydrating it ended up being! The Lyocell fabric was soft and breathable and while thin, held a lot of essence so the mask did not dry out.
You can find the Bring Green Tea Tree Cica Fresh Mask at Miniso or at various Kbeauty e-tailers.
