Purchased by me
We have made it through our first week of 2024! Do we remember much? Or were some of you still on Christmas vacation? My husband’s work isn’t officially back until tomorrow and traffic in the mornings has seemed lighter than usual so I think that is probably the case for a large chunk of the population, but not for me! I have put in my 4 days of work (thank goodness we are still closed on New Year’s Day) and I am tired. I suspect the next couple of weeks this month are going to be unfortunately quite stressful for myself and the team and I honestly don’t know how I plan on dealing with it. I am a bit scared that I might not handle it well or want to run away. I guess we shall see how I do and whether I find a way to deal with the stress. Luckily, there is always sheet masking and hopefully my skin will not betray me like it has the last couple of months, but then again it was probably my body’s way of telling me to be kinder to myself!
What makes this mask special? This
Duft & Doft mask originally caught my eye because the packaging was very similar to the It’s Skin Power 10 Formula masks at the time. They have since changed their packaging, but when I was perusing this little Korean store in Montreal, I originally thought this mask was in fact the It’s Skin Power 10. Duft & Doft is still around, but they do not make sheet masks anymore and have instead moved more into fragrance, bath and body with a dash of skincare.
This mask is meant to be incredibly hydrating and soothing using bamboo, tea and rose flower extract as well as two forms of hyaluronic acid. There are also other fun ingredients like hydrolyzed collagen, ceramides, cica, chamomile and peony extract.

Mask Summary:
Price: I remember paying about $5 CDN in this little Korean store in Montreal.
What it does: Moisturizes and revitalizes sensitive and dry skin
Scent: Floral
Essence Type: Lightly viscous, but still fairly runny so it will run down your neck and into your eyes and mouth
Duration: 30-40 minutes – this mask held quite a bit of essence!
Thickness: Thin
Mask Fit: Good! No lifting at the chin.
Tackiness: Medium-high
Hydration: Intense
Other notes: N/A
Final verdict: This mask was intensely hydrating so I would keep this only for those extra dry nights OR Montreal weather! A part of me wonders if the Power 10 masks are similar and luckily, I have those to try out so I will let you all know!
I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend!
