SHEET MASK | Pucca Ceramide Liposome Tech Mask Collection

Pucca is a Korean cartoon character who is the niece of three Korean men who run a restaurant in a small village in the mountains. She never talks, but has some special abilities like an indestructible head, the ability to run on water and to transform into a Sailor Scout or even a Power Ranger! Pucca, being the renaissance girl that she is, obviously needed her own line of sheet masks which were produced by P&P Cosmetic. Sadly, I do not think these masks are around anymore, but when I visited the Pucca stand at Cosmoprof, they were all the rage. They even had a series of printed character masks that I should have totally gotten, but at that time I was still at the beginning of my sheet mask journey and hadn’t explored too many brands yet. I was given four masks to try out from what I keep referring to in my head as the “max” line and honestly, they all yielded fairly similar results so the reviews for each mask might sound a bit repetitive.

Lightmax Mask

What makes this mask special? This mask contains hydrolyzed collagen, licorice extract, grapefruit extract, hyaluronic acid and even a small amount of ascorbic acid to lighten and brighten the skin. 

I was REALLY impressed with the amount of essence in the package as well as the fit and thinness of the sheet masks themselves! They adhered beautifully to the skin and for a bunch of masks that have been in my collection for six years, I was pleasantly surprised as I would never have known the difference between these and fresher masks. There are never really “actives” in sheet masks so I never get too concerned about something “not working”  when it is mostly about hydration anyway.

Mask Summary:

Collagenmax Mask

What makes this mask special? There is a higher concentration of hydrolyzed collagen than the Lightmax Mask, peptides and soothing ingredients like calendula, lichen and cica extract. 

What makes this mask special? This mask contains grapefruit extract, hyaluronic acid, collagen similar to the other masks, but this time we also have the healing and extra hydrating properties of honey extract!

Teatreemax Mask

Mask Summary:

Price: I believe at the time, these masks were $4 USD each

What it does: Balance skin’s oil levels in oily/combination skin

Scent: Slightly floral

Essence Type: Clear, lightly viscous

Duration: 25 minutes

Thickness: Thin 

Mask Fit: VERY nice with slits. It looked like it was invisible it fit so well!

Tackiness: Light. I was expecting this mask to have zero tackiness considering it is for oily skin types, but tackiness level ended up feeling the same as the others.

Hydration: Good – no moisturizer required especially now with the hot and more humid weather.

Other notes: Same notes as above about the amount of essence and now nice the mask fit despite me receiving this in 2017.
