VT Cosmetics is not a new brand, but it has taken the skincare world by storm with their varying concentrations of Reedle Shot which I promise to review for you soon! Before starting Reedle Shot, I wanted to softly re-introduce myself to the brand starting with a series of new 3 step sheet masks (you know I LOVE a good multi-stepper!) the first of which focuses on soothing, smoothing and plumping.
Step 3 is a night cream focusing on barrier function and moisture and at this step I would definitely say after I applied this, I was VERY glowy so make sure you give yourself some time to let all of this sink in! What was nice was that the finish was not sticky which can often happen with multi-step sheet masks. What I loved was also how even in tone my skin looked so I think this whole process is worth it! The night cream had a stronger, slightly floral scent but it disappeared after a few seconds. My skin did not stick to the pillow at all while I slept, but when I woke up in the morning, washing my face did take a bit longer as there was still quite a bit of product still sitting on my skin.
Mask Summary:
Price: $7 CDN for a single mask (I’ve seen lower pricing at other e-tailers)
What it does: Soothes, smoothes and plumps
Scent: Very subtle, but refreshing
Essence Type: Slightly milky
Duration: 30 minutes
Thickness: Thin to medium
Mask Fit: Good with the mask material being very soft and cushion-like
Tackiness: Light
Hydration: Intense when following all three steps!
Other notes: Skin looked very even-toned with redness in cheeks eliminated!
Final verdict: I am glad I trusted all three steps because my skin looked so bright, even-toned and healthy! My cheeks have been more red than usual and this mask just took all of that away so quickly! I am definitely going to buy this mask again!
