Pelegrims Hand Pomade Review

Sample for work

In trying to get more motivated to create some blog content again, I was thinking back to when I used to do themes for the month to stay focused and “green” seemed like a nice and open-ended theme since that could include plant-based products, green packaging and of course green makeup (I don’t know if I will be doing this!). Granted, we are already at the END of the month and I have only uploaded four blog posts, but we shall see how I do!

To kickstart this theme of green, I wanted to share one of my favourite products from Pelegrims, The Hand Pomade, that also did well during our Pelegrims Pop Up in December. I will be doing my best to feature Pelegrims as much as possible here because we are seriously super excited to be able to launch the brand officially in Canada! We have our stock and we are ready!

Pelegrims Hand Pomade Review
Ingredients: Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil, Vegetable Oil, Vitis Vinifera (Ortega Grape) Skin and Seed Extract, Aqua, Sodium Hyaluronate, Phenoxyethanol, Pro Vitamin B5, Parfum, Rosemary (Leaf) oil, Magnesium Stearate, Hemp Seed oil
Made with English Ortega Grape Extract from Westwell Wines, hyaluronic acid and vitamin B5, this hand treatment is somewhat unique in the sense that when you first apply it, you will think it is the biggest mistake you have ever made! All you need is a dime-sized amount, but I am not going to lie – it is greasy so it tends to be a good hand treatment to use just before bed. If you give this treatment about 10 minutes to work its magic, your hands will feel so much softer, smoother and hydrated that you will wonder why you complained about it in the first place!
My colleagues and I applied this to our hands when I was first introduced Pelegrims and when we were applying, all of our faces were like “OMG, what IS this??” and then we started chatting about work and got distracted, but then suddenly my boss was like “Whoa, my hands are super soft now!” Then myself and my other colleague felt our hands and we were also amazed so it turns out you just need to give this treatment some time to work which is the theme for most of Pelegrims products. Also, the scent is unique and fresh with notes of rosemary, leaf fig and amber. I would love to have this scent in a body wash or candle!
Pelegrims Hand Pomade Review

In short, if you are hesitating between trying a face or body product, start with the Hand Pomade. The scent is fresh, luxurious and unlike anything I have ever smelled before, but most importantly, your hands will be transformed!
