Seaweed is our superpower. Naturally rich in vitamins, minerals, and skin-loving nutrients, our signature seaweed delivers deep hydration and a radiant, luminous glow. And like any superfood, it also nourishes you from the inside out.
One of our favorite ways to enjoy it? These homemade Nori snacks. Nori, a species of edible seaweed harvested from coastal waters, is technically a red algae (though it dries to a deep green-black). It’s a nutrient-dense powerhouse, packed with iodine, fiber, calcium, and vitamin C. With virtually no calories and loaded with umami flavor, our seaweed snacks are as delicious as potato chips, but so much healthier for you.
Even better? They’re vegan, gluten-free, free of vegetable and seed oils, and more sustainable than their packaged counterparts. Pro tip: A light brush of coconut aminos before toasting helps Nori crisp up beautifully and gives salt and sesame seeds something to stick to. Without further ado, let’s dive into it.
Recipe
Serves 2
Ingredients:
- 4 sheets nori
- 2 tablespoons Bragg Organic Coconut Aminos
- 2 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- A pinch of flaky sea salt
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 300°F.
2. Place the sheets of Nori, shiny side up, on a cutting board. Lightly brush with coconut aminos, just enough to coat the surface without making it soggy.
3. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and a pinch of flaky salt, then transfer to a baking sheet.
4. Bake for about 15 minutes, until crisp. Let cool for 5 minutes, then cut or break into bite-size pieces.
Store in an airtight container for up to two days (though they rarely last that long).
