SHEET MASK | Sally’s Box Loverecipe Peach and Carrot Mask

Press samples

Wow, ok so it has felt like forever since I have written anything! I had all these beautiful scheduled posts (I know, I know!) for Jan and Feb and then I just got really pre-occupied with work, work and more work! My brain has been a mess of day job to do lists and even the to do lists for home have gotten to a point where I feel like I am flooding my brain with too much stimulation. I realized I also hadn’t had CBD in awhile and immediately placed my order with Birch + Fog last week for my favourite tincture and gummies.

I am very behind on my Sheet Mask Sunday posts, but I am hoping that after this month my heart will stop racing and I will have finally caught up with things at work leaving my mind a little more free to wander over here! These Sally’s Box Lovereceipe masks were gifted to me as part of a press package from Beauteque awhile ago and I was quite impressed with them!

Peach Mask

Sally's Box Loverecipe Peach and Carrot Mask Review

What makes this mask special?
In addition to the very cute packaging, this cream mask contains actual peach and grapefruit extract to keep skin smooth and firm. Peach extract also aids in barrier repair and inflammation.

I really liked the mask fit after trying so many sheet masks with a very thin moustache piece that I needed to flip and smooth out. Thin moustache pieces also dry out quickly so I like when it is nice and thick. Mask application is also much easier!

Carrot Mask

What makes this mask special? Again, super cute packaging with an essence containing grapefruit and carrot extract which is full of anti-oxidants and helps with oil control.

Sally's Box Loverecipe Peach and Carrot Mask Review

Final verdict: These were such lovely masks and the packaging made them even more fun to use. I had them originally scheduled for review last month since it was the “month of love” after all, but better late than never! As usual, the masks I like are now sadly nowhere to be found. I liked these masks more than I thought I would especially their fit. If only more mask had nice big moustache pieces! I also liked that I could layer moisturizer on top if I wanted to so all in all these masks were a success for me!

The MaskerAide sheet masks are probably the closest to these masks in terms of essence and mask fit so I would recommend those since I can no longer find these ones.
